About Me
I grew up in suburbia, where there wasn't much room for a horse. Instead, I fed my equine obsession with the ink and paper kind. When I ran out of horse books to read, I wrote my own. Thus began my love affair with the written word, a passion that continues to this day.
At age thirteen, I entered the National Spelling Bee, and made third place runner-up in Central NY. I wrote stories and poetry for school publications and personal amusement throughout my youth. Eventually, I stumbled on the romance genre, and there I found my niche. I love blending an exciting adventure with an optimistic happy ending.
I live in upstate New York with my husband, son, and assorted pets. When I'm not writing, I enjoy the arts, gardening, interior decorating, and trips to the local Renaissance Faire.
And The Black Stallion is still my hero.
